Season 8
In the eighth season of Scrubs , a replacement is found for Dr. Kelso. Dr. Taylor Maddox (Courteney Cox-Arquette) makes several changes which affected the manner doctors relate to their patients. Elliot and J.D. finally open out their feelings for one another.

Janitor and his girlfriend, Lady (Kit Pongetti) get married. Dr. Cox becomes the chief of medicine, while J.D. leaves Sacred Heart with Elliot to be closer to his son. Meanwhile, Turk becomes the chief of surgery in Sacred Heart.
