Scrubs Season five opens with a scene showing J.D. residing in a hotel. At this point, he is now at the same level of profession as Dr. Cox. Meanwhile, Elliot transferred to a different hospital.
Even though Turk has his doubts, he and Carla do their best to have a baby. New interns arrive at Sacred Heart. One of these interns is Keith Dudemeister (Travis Schuldt), who later on becomes Elliot’s boyfriend. This news disappoints J.D.
