Scrubs Last Season Finale Aired
Scrubs, a TV show of ABC about the hospital life experienced and seen by Dr. J. D. Dorian as played by Zach Braff, recently aired its season finale. The show will not be doing the Season 10 which was intended for it before due to its poor ratings and some of the cast members moving on and leaving the show. In Season 9, it was expected that the show will have another season but due to unfortunate events, it was cancelled.

This American comedy-drama series follows the life of Dr. Dorian and the rest of the employees of the Sacred Heart, a teaching hospital. During season nine, Dr. Dorian left the hospital but returns occasionally to teach some of the med students. Dr. Dorian has become a seasonal guest of the show unlike in the past seasons of Scrubs. Aside from Braff, the cast include Donald Faison, John C. McGinley, Ken Jenkins, Sarah Chalke, Eliza Coupe, Kerry Bishe, Michael Mosley, and Dave Franco.
Despite the poor ratings of Scrubs season eight last May 2009, ABC decided to renew Scrubs for another year hoping that it would make big money. The high hopes for it were also shown my modifications made on the show to gain viewers. However, after the network showed season nine, it registered low ratings. As the season progressed, the ratings still continue to drop even more and ABC decided to show the remaining episodes in January 2010.

The season nine finale aired by ABC last March 17, 2010 was entitled Our Thanks because it serves a final gratitude of the show to its spectators. After five days, Braff announced that the ninth season of Scrubs would be the last one. He commented that it was worth the try though it did not work out.
After nine seasons with about 180 episodes and various nominations and awards, ABC has finally cancelled the TV series Scrubs and it is apparent that the show will not be coming back. Anyway, all of us had our share of laughter and tears with show running for a quite a long while there.
